Buying In Beit Shemesh?
Many luxury projects in Beit Shemesh are being marketed to buyers in Israel and abroad. While the projects promise high end design and luxury living, the city services aren’t designed to match.

Loss of Green Spaces in Neve Shamir
What is Being Planned?
There is a plan to build high rise towers on both sides of Yarden street leading towards the highway. The traffic circle where these towers are planned already has daily traffic james. The proposed plan will put a massive strain on several neighborhoods that do not have the infastructure needed to support hundreds of new residents.
FAQs
There are already daily traffic jams leaving the neighborhood and public transport is poor. The nearest hospital is roughly 30 minutes away, assuming you aren’t in traffic but the residents are concerned that it will take much longer if these plans are approved. The city already suffers from classroom shortages, with students learning in caravans and buildings with a mamad (safe room). Aside from this, residents moved to Beit Shemesh to get more green space, parks and live outside the urban sprawl. You can learn more about the issues here.

The Neve Shamir neighborhod has been under constant construction for four years now, with many areas still under development. The new plans are currently in the district planning stage. Once it is possible to lodge the formal complaints, we will update everyone with next steps.
